How it works
It may seem a little strange to supply solar powered products in the UK, but even with the little sun we have here the Sentry 300 will continue to work without any problems.
The Solar Panel trickle charges a 12v DC battery so even after a succession of overcast days the Sentry 300s will still operate.
The Sentry 300s system also uses a linear ram which locks in place for additional security
Installation
The Sentry 300s Can be fitted to most gates.
However the following points need to be considered.
- How big is the gate?
- How heavy is the gate?
- How many times a day will the gate be used?
- Is the space to locate the solar panel in direct sun?
